Angel fish?

im getting a small angel fish for my 16gall aquarium ok, ive been told thats adequte, but im gonna get around 4galles when they grow up, how many can i keep together would a single specimen be fine in a community tank or do they need companions, ive been told to keep 6 but 16galls is not large enough for that ammount, also 3-5 will bicker and fight ive been told, one will return dominant and make the others miserable, so should i keep a single or two angel fish? also dont bother reading this question loging on to a fish website and copying that, personal experience will help lots! thanks
