Calling doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals....severe gas pain caused by pain meds????????

I have tried Morphine several times for basically 10 back surgeries in last 4 years. It is known for having bad side efffects and after a week I always call my Dr. and go back to Duragesic. New medicine in pills I take now is Opana E.R. which is oxymorphone (Morphine based Oxycodone) where Oxycontin is codeine based and have had good results. No side effects after 2 weeks and 1 adjustment I am happy that this works. Talk to your Dr. All narcotics cause stomach problems and laxative every other day works good.
