Catholics, what do you think?

I'm a devout Catholic, but an Agnostic has come into my life. His parents are Methodist and Baptist compromised becoming Protestant. However, he was raised Methodist. He has also tried going to a Baptist and Pentecostal churches. He eventually learned to think for himself. He has seen and heard the arguments. I know this all sounds confusing, which why he's probably Agnostic. He has spent nights wondering if he would burn in hell. Because he cares for me, he would convert in word and appearance as a Catholic, but he doesn't think his mind and heart would convert. I'm not one to force my faith on another. I know it's a kind gesture for him to do that for me, but I'd rather him convert because it's what he wants. I really care for this guy because other than religion we have a lot in common. Any help/thoughts would be appreciated.
