lets say you mistakenly slipped on a wet floor bumped into a girl on the way which made her tumble down a flight of stairs and knocked out unconcious. the girl happens to be your bosses daughter. You are actually trying to suck up to him by bringing him coffee and running errands for him. But if you mistakenly pushed her it's not really a way to impress your boss.
