Why do I feel so thirsty and my throat feel tight?

I suggest going to your primary physician to get tested. If it isn't diabetes, your physician might be able to tell you what else it could be. Thirst is a symptom of diabetes, and you obviously are concerned about it otherwise you wouldn't have posted. Get tested, and then you can stop worrying about it.
