Honestly i don't know but i cant agree with you more...i was sitting there reading Dracula and was asking myself the same question..i hope years down the line you don't get someone reading something like Dracula and ask "well ok..but why isn't he sparkling?! this isn't a real vampire!" god forbid this is what vampire mythology is turned into...
