Was I "drunk" on New Year's Eve?

On New Year's Eve I had a shot of champagne. Later, I felt energetic and kept laughing. I also felt extremely happy. I also said crazy things like, "I'm a caveman," and "I love everyone in this house." This lasted all night. I was normal the next day. Was I a little drunk?
